Look! It's an egg on a Coral Honeysuckle leaf! I watched a hummingbird #moth lay eggs on several leaves. It's their primary host plant. I'll be watching for caterpillars.

A native plant garden I installed on some unmaintained county property. It consists mostly of grasses (switchgrass, broomsedge, and little bluestem), and some blunt mountain mint toward the front.
