Cantre'r Gwaelod is a mythical Welsh land said to lie beneath the waters of Cardigan Bay between Ramsey Island in the south and Bardsey Island in the north. Legend says a drunkard prince carelessly left open some floodgates, allowing this fertile land to be submerged.

In Nordic folklore of yore, heading in any given direction for too long will eventually land you in one of the other Nine Worlds beyond our Midgard home: heading North lands one in tall Jotunheim's peaks; east and west both lead to the Bifrost, and Asgard.

A place born of the Kālacakra Tantra, Shambala is a mystical kingdom likely in the foothills of the Himalayas. A place of purity and purpose, when the world is ready Vishnu will incarnate here one final time and usher in a new era of enlightenment and peace.

In Welsh myths, Caer Sidi (Castle Revolving) was a castle of black glass in the Otherworld, guarded by fairies and ghosts. It spun in an unending revolution, so that few could find its entrance. King Arthur and his greatest warriors tried to breach it, but only seven returned alive.
