This teapot is on display in our WW2 gallery. It was made in place of aluminium teapots when the aluminium was being used to make armaments instead.

The colourful and attractive teapot has a white base and the allied nations flags on it. It reads “War against Hitlerism. This souvenir teapot was made for Dyson & Horsfall of Preston to replace aluminium stocks taken over for allied armaments. 1939 That right shall prevail.”
