Backrooms exploited the uncomfortable uncanny valley of liminal space and took it to the bank. Is it worth the hype? We say yes!
Backrooms will be a landmark film, like The Blair Witch Project or One Cut of the Dead. Films that announced the arrival of something fresh and hugely successful, from minimal beginnings. Also, it will forever be paired with Obsession as representing a changing of the cinema guard.
