But is it even any good? I've not been tempted to watch tbh
I loved it. It has: Lots of cool Cailleach & olde Irish magick imagery; a solid, twisty ghost story-chum-detective Drama; freakish imagery; uncanny creatures; uncomfortable humour, and it is all anchored impeccably by Adam Scott.
It's very Stephen Kingesque and meditative, with a slow build. If you want straight, no-holds-Folk-Horror, might I suggest: Hellbender February Huesera: The Bone Woman Severed Sun The Ritual 2017 The Wailing Hagazussa Kill List Apostle A Dark Song Pyewacket Gretel and Hansel 2020 November Fréwaka
