It’s not like she wasn’t ashamed of her part in the incursion. But it seemed like the populace condemned her memory even as she was the one to recognise what was happening, and how she had closed that first tear in reality. Rumour painted her as an impish witch, evil incarnate. Some of the things she had heard had her as the queen of mischief! Someone to scare the young with.
