She’s doing GREAT in the trailer on our camping trip. We’ve covered 10km with her today, and probably have another 5km in us before the day is done.

That’s amazing. I may have taken home a bike trailer that was out at the curb on garbage day, but I don’t know if I’m going to be able to adapt it for Jack.

We have an extra of these Thule hitch cups and skewers hanging around. They need an adapter if your rear hub is internally geared, but we have one of those too. They are pretty easy to install: about 5min or so. Happy to meet up somewhere if you want to try. www.thule.com/en-ca/bike-t...

Can I ask why your pup is in a bike trailer? Are they limited in mobility? Or just for funsies + exploration?

Mostly fun/exploration, but she is 12, so definitely can’t run as far as she used to. This lets go farther and see new sights on our camping trip. We have never trained her to run alongside a bike on a leash (she’d pull us over) and we’re on Parks Canada land, so leashes are required at all times.
