A determined effort to get in early this week with my third August #SixOnSaturday after my tardy displays recently. Still no rain here, so the watering regime continues. Here are half a dozen of the survivors. *Details in Alt text.

From top left, clockwise: purple cranesbill Geranium Anne Folkard; Kniphofia/Red hot pokers, Pyromania Backdraft; Red Penstemons. Can't remember the name; small Hydrangea growing in the shade of an Acer that was nearly overlooked and lost but now thriving after some tlc; lone purple and Clematis, growing in a pot by the front door, again on the verge of extinction until I spotted it while feeding the birds. Saved by the bell when I started giving it extra water; yellow Verbascum near the wildflower section at the top of the garden that seems to do well without my intervention.
