I know what you mean. I used to lie in a hammock looking up at the forest treetops, and if it was windy, they would be creaking. You feel very small.

My Sequoias aren't as ancient as the Redwoods on the coast but they were planted as seedlings in 1994. Sequoia Gigantea. 63 altogether on 5 acres. My favorite trees.
