Rob’s #BirdoftheDay them is #Warblers. That’s awesome cuz I got this shot yesterday of an orange-crowned warbler. This bird looks joyous…which is good for a Friday! Happy #FeatheredFriday, friends.

We see an olive-yellow bird standing tall on a little bare branch. S/he faces the camera and her wings are out to the sides for the first wingbeat of takeoff. Her head looks straight up to the heaven(s), but is turned slightly to reveal her right eye. Her left foot has just barely left the branch with her legs outstretched. The background is blurry green and tans of the pondscape behind her.
