Enjoying 1977's "Nogmania" book by Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin full of Heath Robinson esque inventions in the Noggin the Nog world. Am always looking out for Nogbad the Bad usually lurking somewhere, as in this "Nogfeast" picture. I was lucky to recently buy the book at heavy discount.

Part of a busy hand drawn illustration of an invention, featuring lots of linked contraptions and people hard at work. This portion of the picture shows the barbecue chicken section of Nogfeast, with a dog (marked "Hot Dog") running in a wheel to turn the spit, where a cook checks the chickens turning over hot flames. At the bottom a chicken ("Raw Chicken") runs away from a castle servant. At the top right is a menu board, including Chicken in the Basket, Flying Jacket Potatoes, Fruit-down-the-chute and High Tea. And at the top left the villainous Nogbad the Bad is leaning in, stealing a chicken using his sword to grab it.
