#MusicHistory On this day, 1990, the Pixies released Bossanova. Track 3, “Velouria,” is arguably the centerpiece of the record. It's one of those songs that could only have come from The Pixies—massive guitars, a beautiful melody, bizarre lyrics and a theremin floating through the background!

Took my oldest granddaughter to see them last summer. Doing my best: Black Keys, Snow Patrol, Garbage, Death Cab in the last year or so. She’s open minded 😆
