Vancouver Mayor Ken Sim's push for two plebiscite questions in the upcoming municipal election on public drug use and adding involuntary care beds has been condemned by opponents as an election ploy.

As a West End resident, my biggest questions are actually around this idea of turning St. Paul's Hospital into an apparently large-scale involuntary care centre?? But so far I'm not hearing any examination of that.

I think St Paul's has a river problem. (As in a river runs through it) Apropos of nothing really. I'm curious to know what will happen with the building.
