This is exactly what I said was going to happen under Bill C-5. Even the other day, someone tried to tell me I was wrong about it entirely. I wasn't. This article has some details that are alarming. Like if the MPO lists a project, it means it will go forward, they just need to determine how.

The West Coast Pipeline is listed. That means it has all federal approvals and will absolutely be built. Those saying he was playing chess and putting the onus on Alberta to get it built is entirely garbage. National interest means it benefits the country as a whole, not just AB and Carney's pals.
Absolute bullshit. I loathe our PM.

"We are building a pipeline nobody wants, that corporations won't pay for, it'll cost $40 billion dollars and you will pay for it. Consider yourselves consulted".

Basically, yes.

Well, if I can say anything positive, it's at least more efficient than Trudeau and Liberals consultations on the Canada Disability Benefit. That took 4 1/2 years for them to tell us to fuck off. 🤦‍♂️😢

It was never going to lift us out of poverty. They sold us on something that was never going to happen. But Carney's done nothing for the disabled either. And likely never will. Under Trudeau, they were at least looking at a UBI.
Oh the irony. "extended the deadline to Sept. 18, 2026, citing competing priorities and wildfire impacts in Alberta and British Columbia.'
