Flash flood watch through 10am Saturday, areas south of I-80 could see 3-4 inches on already saturated ground. More storms Saturday night into Sunday behind a cold front, then a drier break Monday-Tuesday before midweek storms return.

Skyvibe 3-day forecast for Chicago. Cloudy warmth, a wetter Sunday, then easier Monday. Overcast and mild, evening shower chance builds. | Warmest day, drizzle likely, keep an umbrella close. | Cooler and calmer, best air of the stretch.

Overnight storms are the real threat, capable of 2+ inches an hour on soil that can't absorb much more. South of I-80 is highest risk, but poor drainage spots north can flood too. Highs 80-85, mostly cloudy. Know your flood-prone spots before dark tonight.

Another round arrives late tonight with the cold front, still capable of heavy downpours though this batch keeps moving so flood risk drops. Sunday clears out dry and seasonable, low-mid 80s. First real dry stretch in a while starts Monday, and it's earned.
