Can you make like a megathread with all of int uses because i only remember using it for recall knowledge and downtime activities. Might be because i have low int irl tbh
I might at some point but I have work later.
I think the underestimation of Int is partially because Int is outside of int-based class, a support action or something that shine outside of combat.
At low level, there is no skill feat or basic skill that give a condition and attack. You can only do a recall knowledge or disable a haunt.
Outside of combat, it can craft, understand the social context, give you additional language, additional skill to use during skill challenges or during combat, see someone is lying base on your knowledge of the subject, Manipulate magic or specific traditions magics
But they are circonstancial or need the right application. Like having every type of physical damage or elemental damage, have a way to breath when engulf or get out of the engulf, a way to fly, to swim.
But, this game is all about circonstance! Every fight can be disastrous because nobody has a specific counter to something.
Returning to the subject, having a skill feat similar to the class feat Tamper would reduce the discourse.
