LOVED that book. Jeanette Winterson is such a creative, empathetic writer (with a wicked sense of humour).
I too love, love, love this book. My favorite of hers.
I still have more to read but I certainly enjoyed it as much as books like ‘Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit’. This reminds me that I need to grab some more of her books from the shelf!

I hardly remember Sexing the Cherry🤣 But Written on the Body is excellent; I include it in my Russian women writers and writing the body class as the (token) Western writer :)
And I definitely have more to read by her, too.
