I’ve experienced like 200+ AQI from the Palisades Fire; let me tell you it is genuinely terrible. Basically 3 minutes outside and you smell like ash

Would you happen to know which - if any- wind direction will blow this Yuck away? 🥹 As it is currently from the south, I guess that’s not a nice wind direction.

A sustained northeast to southeast wind would help a lot.We look to get that starting tonight, but not very strong, so it may take a while to completely clear. What we really need is a two-day soaker rain. But that’s not in the cards anytime soon.

It’s been drier than usual hasn’t it? At least I’ve not had to load my vehicle with the things I’d want to save from a forest fire this year! (So far 🙄)

Rainfall in the Fairbanks area since June is about half of normal.

Had not realized it was that bad!
