Please do, epic collection Trevor π
I think they are packed away Gary - most of the tracks are on 'Alpha Mike Foxtrot' so I play that instead π

Cor, you have a lock-up with all the family jewels stored innit π - susquehanna river is sucha choon
Ha ha - not quite a lock up, more of a box in a cupboard π
I read Jeff's book on songwriting recently, it's really interesting and entertaining. Lots of useful tips and examples - and it never gets overly detailed, so it's really easy for non-musical people to consume.
I've had that for a while but not read it yet, although I've read his other books.
It's an easy read, it took me around 2 or 3 afternoons. Well worth your time.
It's on the pile of unread books, must be 20-30 by now!
Hahaha I know the feeling. I've recently started attacking my pile of unread books and have been really enjoying a good read. What with all the recent good weather, I'm halfway through the third one and have another lined up once that's finished.
I'm ok once I start one, tend to finish them quickly before I forget what's happening. The problem is starting one!
ππ Pop a note into your calendar, Trevor. Seriously, you'll really enjoy it, it's pretty light reading and informative.
I'm travelling to London on the train this week - that's at least 4 hours there and back. Might take it then π

Loved the band but I only ever bought one single which was βI Canβt Stand Itβ for 50p And that was my introduction to them.
That one was CD only - that's in my collection too π
It was a cd, yes. My vinyl all went in 1995.
Still got most of mine - although some have gone for good and others have returned over time.
Summerteeth to Wilco (The Album) is their golden streak for me. Still buying the albums though as always a few gems on each one.
Probably my favourite live band, I always try to see them when I can. Jeff's last (triple) album Twilight Override was pretty good too.
Yeah, three times Ive seen them were all great. Got a couple of the solo albums and really like the Mavis Staples albums he produced.
Seen them/Jeff Tweedy about a dozen times - always been great shows. I was also lucky to see Mavis in London several years back.
Lucky you, been listening to Staple Singers since late 80βs. I bought these two on the same day
