For #BirdOfTheDay alt theme #Fledglings, a fledgling Pin-tailed Whydah I saw standing in a boot print on a sandy path at the LA Arboretum yesterday. These birds are brood parasites; this fledgling was hanging out with a group of Scaly-breasted Munia who were apparently raising it.
