Drivers licenses will soon be available on mobile devices in North Carolina. The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles (NCDMV) plans to launch the new program in Dec. 2026.

No need to give them an opportunity to scan a new copy, when they already have you on file. Think of the vulnerability if dispensaries captured? Risk to some local folks jobs perhaps. Tourists? Legal here, but not legal where you live? Flock will be watching your drive home.
