It’s soooo good, right? I had to immediately rewatch to soak it up more. I’m such a sucker for tough guys being tough and vulnerable. #Ash Also, did you hear that apparently this is an original Youku co-production so they’re really going all in on it. More BL for us, more profits for them. Win win.

I was fully locked in! The vibes are perfect. Seconded in the tough guys being vulnerable; also the tension, the action, the little twists. I expected low budget and short episodes, but it's 🔥🔥🔥 I'm so glad Youku is backing it! If it succeeds, I'd love to see more series of this caliber from them.

It’s the real deal!! Their chemistry is 🔥. Also mafia boss’s eyelash game is 👌. The push and pull between them feels right for who they are, the personas they have to wear and the baggage they bring to any relationship. It’s delicious. The interplay between hard tussling and soft caressing. Yes!

It's fantastic! They way they run hot and cold for each other. I'm also liking the side characters and the mystery. I want to know more about the assistant and the rookie.

Yes, lots of stuff to get intrigued by - plot, characters, how on earth they’re going to navigate the inevitable conflict when the investigation starts pointing to him, etc. I’m really hoping the opening scene is a red herring rather than how this will end for them. #Ash

I’ve a good idea who the counterfeiting evil mastermind is as well, which will add a lot of trouble. But for now I just want to see how their semi-clandestine relationship develops. They’re both tough guys who don’t back down, but the tenderness and care between them is delicious. My catnip. #Ash

I’m intrigued by his relationship with the assistant. In ep 1, they seemed like friends (with the whole clocking off work whenever and joshing around) but in ep 2, it appeared deeper (with that comment from the assistant about how he cares and is always there but isn’t allowed to ~be with him). #Ash

I perked at that comment too. I couldn't tell if he was joking and his demeanor was just dry or if there was a hidden meaning there.

Exactly! Intrigue. Possibilities. All great stuff. The assistant didn’t seem too bothered by his clandestine relationship with the “thug” in ep 1 so maybe it’s just his way of speaking. But then. Maybe not. 🤔 Could add some extra angst to things later. #Ash
