This is an Avalon model AV-2T, double-cutaway, solidbody electric guitar. It was made in Japan circa 1968. It has a translucent sunburst finish with two pickups. The neck is straight and all the electronics work properly. It is a great playing guitar which will be appreciated by collectors, players and, of course, The Shaggs fans. Yes, this is the exact same model guitar THE SHAGGS used for their truly unique sound way back in 1969. Could it be one of theirs?
