Morning #WeekendSingles crew, Thankfully the weather is noticeably cooler here today. I've been on a record buying sabbatical of late so I've dug four out from the collection. All one (fairly) careful owner. Have an enjoyable Sunday everyone.

I kept a few of mine in those pvc outer sleeves. Which to my cost I discovered doesn't do them any good in the long run.
I've since invested in decent quality sleeves for my vinyl but alas, too late for a lot of early purchases!
I put all mine in poly sleeves these days. It was when I was transferring some of the ones that I had kept in pvc sleeves that I noticed that they had damaged the vinyl.
Ouch! That hurts...it's usually the sleeves which have had a hard life with my collection, vinyl usually ok.
Bit of both with mine Olly. Some of my sleeves have got those brown foxing marks on them. In fact quite
badly in some cases like The Fall single below.
What a shame!White sleeves are the hardest to look after...keeps us interested in the odd upgrade though.😅

Same here. The Killing an Arab I've got is on Small Wonder which much to my surprise I discovered a few years ago is very collectable now.

I saw it for £150 at Frome Record Fair the other week. Which I thought was pricey but just checked Discogs and there is one for sale for £250🙄 and that's from a UK record shop. Can't believe they will get anything like that for it.
Saw one last week at £170.00. I could have had one last year for £100.00 but I thought it was way too much. The guy said he was doing me a great deal as I'd already spent 100. Turns out he was. 🤦♂️
The trader I saw who was selling for £150 was open to offers so probably would have sold for £140 ish. Not that I would pay that much for a single.
I probably will end up paying that much eventually.The most I've paid is 60 for a dance 12 while drunk, luckily it's worth double that now. Both of these are in the hundred quid range and would likely buy if I saw them.

It's fatal going to the shop after a few beers. That doesn't just apply to record shops either in my case.
