October 2024 at Cape Henlopen Beach in Lewes Delaware. I had just viewed a beautiful sunrise and I was just enjoying being there. A lady next to me commented to me and pointed to the beach saying “A Bald Eagle landed on the Beach!” I’ve gone to that beach my entire life and That was a first for me.

Seeing a bald eagle just hanging out right on the sand is definitely not something you spot every day! Great catch.

Thank You! I’m grateful for the lady pointing him out. I was just at peace staring down the coastline. This was a major bonus !! I had never seen a Bald Eagle anywhere in Delaware.
