👏👏👏 I was told I had anorexia before I was diagnosed with Type 1. But yes, I also cringe at “this food will give you diabetes” jokes. I’ve been getting past my own feelings towards T2 (anger at them not having to take shots, having a seemingly “solvable” problem). Kindness and empathy ❤️
