We don’t need White Storks, we need action to protect existing species that are in severe decline.
that’s exactly what i was thinking, i’m not sure why releasing white storks seem to be so popular in the first place, there are other species in more serious decline.
Have both, good to see Storks again, and still protect rarities by protecting the habitats against wildfires and habitat destruction
Except there is little evidence they bred here previously, and it’s another predator of amphibians etc. Effectively it’s an introduction of a species that isn’t, necessary and more competition with native wildlife.
600 years ago they bred here, they are graceful birds that poses no threat to anything, are you going say Britterns shouldn't be allowed to breed eating amphibians or Herons

Just lovely! We have a few Whooping Cranes that stop at our pond here in the Plains every year. They are amazing to see and breathtaking when they take off. I can appreciate your gorgeous Storks!
