Baby K, a grey and white tabby 4-month-old kitten with golden eyes, and my senior Queen Dame cat, Jane The Magnificent, an 18 year old silver grey and cream orange tortoiseshell tabby with emerald green eyes. Both cats are chilling on some concrete steps in the daylight basement level of my home. Jane is doing her best to ignore the youngster and he is looking upwards to camera. I'm not revealing Baby K's foster name until I'm sure I'm not changing it. I adopted two boy kittens this week but scheduling issues means the other one, Baby M, does not arrive home until tomorrow. I took the opportunity this week to work on acclimating Jane and Baby K to one another but I think things will go even better once he has a buddy who is more on his level. Jane tends to be nurturing towards young males but I am mostly keeping them separate except for supervised play and feeding times. The two cats look like they could be related, and they are adorable together.
