I think with this news, I'd be very shocked if we add another DP this window
Dylan · 0 · 1d ago Why? The plan from the beginning of this window was always two bring in two DPs. Getting rid of Gazdag this summer never made sense unless we were going to bring in 3 DPs.
I am not sure that this is a bad thing to be honest. A lot of Crew fans seem very upset that he is not being moved 🤷🏼♂️
Personally I wouldn’t have much problem with having him on an MLS roster as a non-DP player.
The way he was going to you he wouldn’t be.
There’s no way for Crew to convert him off a DP slot with his budget charge.
I still think those uniforms make them look like Charlie Brown

I guess I should be more precise: The mechanism by which Gazdag was rumored to be moving made no sense. (Buy-out, then signing as a free-agent).

And now that they've signed a 4th U22, that's realistically the only way this could happen

Is the roadblock the Crew wanting to keep the player or the buyout/transfer mechanism and not agreeing on that number?
