Lots of chatter about a possible M&A move in the #NGS #LongReads companies, either Oxford @nanoporetech.com or PacBio $PACB @pacbio.bsky.social or both. There are a few other long-reads companies out there, but not nearly as established.

Given their recent push away from things that customers like after the patents expired (e.g. a wide variety of cheap sequencing options), it wouldn't surprise me to hear about a Merger / Acquisition of Oxford Nanopore.
