These are my favourite signs that I saw in Leith today.

Extremely rusty sign for Bernard Brogan Limited. A buddleia has grown out of the top of it, cracking the pebbledash before dying. There is grass growing out of the drainpipe above.

I particularly like the 'Genuine spares' sign. I feel like they don't make signs like that any more, and haven't for a long time now - I mean signs that degrade in that particular 'slow lightning' sort of way. I wonder what the mechanisms behind that are?
