This week, my #CDFriday can only belong to one group.

I had 2011's reunion album 𝘔𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘓𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 at the time, and saw them on that tour. But its absence of Ben Orr and minimal input from Elliot Easton made it less vital to me. I had seen them live in 1984 (with Wang Chung as support). They were criticized at the time for their unconventional shows and lack of engagement with the audience. But it was very refreshing for me at the time after going to mostly rock gigs (Kiss, Foghat, Rush, Ted Nugent, Van Halen) with my older siblings previously. I believe the only "New Wave" show I'd been to at that point was one featuring The Police, Thompson Twins, Oingo Boingo and The Fixx in 1983.
