For today's #BirdOfTheDay theme of #Warblers, here's a yellow-rumped warbler I photographed while walking around a cemetery in Holbrook, #Arizona, a couple of years ago. Sadly, the yellow rump isn't shown in this photo. Many cemeteries have lots of trees -- great for seeing birds!

A mostly gray bird is perched in side-profile on a concrete headstone. The bird has a yellow stripe on the top of its head, as well as a yellow chin and a yellow streak under its wing. Yellow-rumped warblers (Setophaga coronata) measure 4.7-5.5 inches (12-14 cm) in length, weigh 0.4-0.5 ounces (12-13 g), and have wingspans of 7.5-9.1 inches (19-23 cm). Measurement information from Cornell Lab of Ornithology's AllAboutBirds.org.
