What sort of compromises (which imply the science communicator should give up something of value) did you have in mind? I wouldn't view a focus on impacts as a compromise, if that's what you meant.
Marshall Shepherd · 1 · 23h ago I meant for the person who DMed me asking why I led with it would be a rare landfall if happens. That gets the average person to open then I explain the impacts. Totally agree with you. Always want impacts emphasized, SS scale less emphasized
