Two small plovers, with one somewhat out of focus chasing the plover in the foreground. They're running across a bumpy mud flat that has a few sprigs of green marsh plant showing. The plovers have brown upperparts, and white underparts, with black bands across the forehead and around the "collar", but for the one in the foreground the markings are pretty faint. Each has an orange bill with black top, orange legs and feet.
