I'm in Cwmbran Library for a morning of author talks and workshops with @torfaenlibraries.bsky.social. It's roasting out, and the whole town is blanketed in wildfire smoke. Let's hope it doesn't put people off coming.

I had an audience of two: eight year old Freya and her mum, Jodie. Hardly a crowd, but they were both so friendly and engaged. We had a great chat, and they borrowed The Train to Impossible Places and The Beanstalk Murder from the library before they left. #KidLit #KidLitUK
