Rainbow lorikeets are obviously very beautiful birds but I wouldn't call them friendly, they very aggressive.
I was astounded at how tame they were. Happy to be photographed at close range, and not flying off.
Yes in that way they are friendly, don't try to pick one up though.
My 92 year old neighbour feeds them all the time here, you can get right up to them but don't try and touch one it'll your finger off lol
