This is a very respectable pile of Maberry-shaped trouble. Which lane wins for you: Pine Deep dread or Joe Ledger going full tactical nightmare? Joe for me! and, bonus: Maberry wrote the blurb for my novel: The Night She Said Hatchet ! He's a great guy AND author!

I've read more of the Joe Ledger books so they probably get the edge and their more current for me. But I remember really enjoying the 1st Pine Deep. It was quite scary. He knows how to spin a yarn.

Yes, I think he puts out something like 15 to 30 books a year a lot of them are short stories, but he is quite engaging! I’m meeting him in October for him to sign my book that he blurbed!
