I haven't had this in a while: Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout (North Coast Brewing Co.; Fort Bragg, CA). The 75 IBU hoppiness of this is a nice complement to the roasted malt. This is perhaps one of the 20 Go-To Beers we can enjoy as a country, widely available and great!

If I want to support local brewers (and I do) that's how 90% of the beers come, so that's just the space I'm in. It doesn't bother me - I really appreciate having such a huge local variety.
