Cizeta burst onto the Italian supercar scene at the end of the 1980s to a good deal of hype from the motoring press. This early brochure introduces the initial Cizeta Moroder V16T, with dramatic Gandini-styled body, featuring double-stack pop-up headlamps, plus its mighty engine.

The Cizeta had plenty of Lamborghini DNA - its body was based on Gandini's original proposal for the Diablo, and the founder of the company was former Lamborghini engineer Claudio Zampolli. The car's transverse 540bhp V16 engine was emblematic of both ultimate performance and the excess of this era.
