A view of a deforestation project behind my house due to new water service being extended beyond the wood. The forest is a broad mix of walnut, Osage orange, maple, hackberry, oak, cedar, and varied low growth. A large yellow CAT (Caterpillar) earth mover uses a FECON tree cutter/grinder attached to the bucket end of its single arm. The cutter is a large red painted steel box. Two square posts from a broken fence line still stand near the cutter. ###
