I think it’s a matter of time until open source is policed/restricted/blocked It’s like how we’re moving towards identification or age verification being required at an operating system level: how are you going to push that onto BSD and Linux?

Cool, you got commercial 3d printers onboard- how about the open source ones? Are we going to restrict the purchase of microcontrollers and stepper motors? At the start of this all reprappers were using hot glue guns and weed whacker line (this is why 2.85mm filament even existed)
