Ever since I heard about the passing of #LouKoller, I’ve been thinking about him a lot. He was not only the nicest guy — he and #SickOfItAll shaped part of who I am today. Realizing I was at their final show - which nobody could have known at the time - leaves me humbled and thankful.

That day, Lou and Pete signed my copy of The Blood and the Sweat backstage while waiting for pizza. They were genuinely excited to see it after the book tour had fallen through due to COVID. The last thing I told #LouKoller was how much #SickOfItAll influenced me. And I thanked him. #SOIA #NYHC

Another memory from that night: #SickOfItAll playing “Maladjusted”. Lou just seemed to be home on the stage. The entire band lit up the place as they usually would. Their joy and energy was simply infectious. Having had my kids with me at their 1st #SOIA show means a lot now. #LouKoller #NYHC
