Guaranteed this is literally the cause. Parents have been inoculated by Just a Sniffle messages for years now and harassed when kids are Too Absent. Dr notes requested for more than 2d. Even a cold usually lasts longer! www.rnz.co.nz/news/educati...

Given the vicissitudes of life, aiming for high attendance is probably damaging. Unlimited sick leave for work and school!
