Canadian democracy is fragile and needs a serious opposition with a leader who is smart and capable enough to take the reins of power at a moment's notice without scaring the s**t out of Canadians. PP is not that person, and the Conservatives in their current iteration are not that opposition.

My theory is, one of his consultants pointed out how Pollievre's staunchest supporters were participating in 'active clubs' (i.e. neo-NAZI recruiting fight clubs, intended to train the far-right for street brawls against the left) and, he's dog whistling them.
