Ata definitely admits something in this #WIPSnips. I think The Wolf Knight might be my best story yet and I'm excited for all of you to eventually enjoy it once I catch up on my recording. What do you all think of this? Replies are welcome!

An excerpt from The Wolf Knight (Raven & Bear: 8) by Bramble, in black text on a white background with the word "admitted" highlighted in green. Ata explains why she can't forgive Marrok (formerly Melion). Transcript: “I know he hurt you,” her voice wavered as rain fell from that cloudy stare, then grew fierce, “but he saved me and worked so hard to be better. Is there no way you can reconcile…” “Sweet girl,” Ata stepped around their chessboard then knelt beside Princess Ceindrych, to whisper, “it’s not simply that he hurt me. It’s that he had always been so kind before that day.” She confessed it had been necessary to rob market vendors for bread or fruit. Most took pity and set aside any food near spoil. Only Melion gave the bear-cub leftovers, mostly boiled potatoes but once a month he brought fatty lamb chunks. When she met his younger sibling, they were so excited it annoyed her. Ata sighed wistfully, then admitted Nim had always been cute. Princess Ceindrych giggled at that, “you love them.” [End]
