Black people found hanging in trees. Words fail me. Had a friend who was horrified to learn the big oak tree in the town square was a hanging tree for multiple lynchings. And there was no narrative or acknowledgement of that evil. Now again? #Blues #GTS #DOOR

Sadly it’s not just in the south. I recall someone saying a black man was found in a tree recently in New England possibly Boston Common and it was ruled a “suicide”. Apparently that’s standard police practice when they don’t want to investigate the murder of a minority.
