This practice has increased in recent years, threatening the health of old-growth redwoods and prompting legal action to protect these trees. .... They can be quite valuable to make exotic slabs for furniture and sold at some jaw-dropping prices on eBay and Amazon! It seems as though poachers are rarely caught or punished.

Thank you ever so much! It's good to hear from you as well! Seems as though this summer is going by at incredible speeds and I'm slowing down at the same time. NOT a great combination. Just replied to Breezie & told her I plan to keep working until I have some remaining treasured memories left to go thru- ones I don't want to lose -either because the aging brain loses things by mistake or that I simply don't have backed up. Seeing glimpses of the end of this long tunnel! 🤞😊🙏❤️

STILL plowing away at photo sorting with quite a few interruptions. Enough to get things muddled in the process. I begin to wonder if it's worth the effort, but It's been enough fun revisiting some great times to keep me poking at it. Hope you are doing well this summer w/out much heat or smoke! ❤️🙏

Oh Breezie! I've been missing you, but time seems to be going at warp speed this summer and the older I get the more naps I seem to need... it doesn't help that the new replacement iPad has been a challenge to learn my way around in... (mutter, mutter, etc!) All in all I should NOT complain though!

Yes! There are a few more trips that I want to be sure to sort thru & back up. I may slow down once I have them sorted and get back to posting occasionally! In the meantime, I'll try to pop in once in awhile, but it's far too easy to lose where I'm at. It's happened a few times already! 🥴 Miss you!❤️
