Said that he had a pic of himself & Stone, but couldn't remember meeting since it was the 70s. He was glad he had photo for memory.

It runs the entire spectrum of human emotion and does so beautifully.

This is a late gem.
HIs first solo album, all of it.
Many years ago, I remember seeing CSN in concert.
Toward the end of the concert, the three of them sat on folding chairs and sang Guinevere.
When they were done they all stood up and high five each other.
That was the closest I have ever seen something done to perfection.

“Guinnevere” and “Déjà Vu” for me, with “Eight Miles High” getting a nod from his Byrds days. Crosby’s harmonies and unusual tunings gave his music such a distinctive sound. “Guinnevere” especially is just gorgeous—haunting, intricate, and unlike almost anything else from that era. 🎶
