Ribbit! Great to see loads of frogs and other little critters despite this year being a bit dry and warm. We have a valve on the drain by our outdoor beds which can kind of make it in to a swale (wet ditch), which probably helps.

True. Unfortunately our house is down hill relatively to the field. This makes it awkward to get the water uphill. Otherwise we would consider something like it. We also have a big pond so we are ok for now in the warm period. Well worth thinking trough water management though
